About Michael Mcpherson

Currently lead a diverse group of talented scientists within Global Biologics at AbbVie. Our mission is to discover and develop innovative biologic therapeutics that have transformational efficacy and an irrevocable impact on patients with cancer, autoimmune disease and neurological disorders. We use in vitro display technologies (eg. Yeast/phage/mammalian) to identify and characterize therapeutic antibodies and work closely with our Chemistry Discovery teams to evaluate Antibody Drug Conjugates and other novel biologic formats to support both early and late pipeline programs. Co-founder of the Immunology ADC (iADC) platform technology at AbbVie and Biology Lead for AbbVie’s first iADC (ABBV-3373) to enter clinical trials for the treatment of RA. Extensive drug discovery leadership experience with both small and large molecule programs and inventor on multiple development and clinical assets.
