I am a CPA and Senior Staff Auditor at Crowe Horwath LLP, and have been able to plan, organize and execute assurances service while supervising and reviewing the work of staff auditors and interns. I have performed assurance services for various companies in different industries ranging from construction, real estate, manufacturing, insurance, higher education, retail, car dealerships, and as well as others. I have had the opportunity to audit several different areas allowing for a wide range knowledge of how companies operate on a day to day basis. Some of these areas include cash, investments, inventory, fixed assets, intangibles, AP, debt, payroll, revenue and AR. I have experience in foreign currency translation, researching accounting standards, and advising clients on proper treatment of complex and unusual accounting issues. I routinely prepare financial statements for my clientele, including consolidating financials.I have experience with SOX 404 testing of internal controls of a public company.I have experience with the buy side due diligence for the acquisition of a company.I was given the opportunity to travel to Melbourne, Australia for a four month secondment from July 2016 through October 2016, gaining IFRS and AASB experience.I have also been involved in the recruiting process to assist Crowe in attracting and obtaining new, talented individuals.
