Embedded Mentor to DOD personnel in the use of key intelligence tools and software in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the United States by rapidly identifying intelligence requirements and advising the analyst on the best utilization of the wide array of DCGS-A tools. Software includes; Multi-Function Work Station (MFWS), AXIS Pro, ArcGIS 9.3, QueryTree, Analyst Notebook 8, Coral Reef, TerraExplorer, Google Earth, Pathfinder, MS Office tools and other data collection sources to provide timely and accurate actionable intelligence products. Test new software, updated versions of the Cloud, quarterly IAVA updates, and Technical Bulletins for impact on software. Document software test results and recommendations. Coordinate with Field Service Engineers and unit representatives to keep DCGS-A hardware and software optimized. Reviewed and prepared requests for information. Prepared and assimilated numerous intelligence reports such as: SIRs, IIRs, DIRs, PIRs, and other intelligence reports. Provided Tier I / II level support to DOD personnel for laptop computers, printers, associated peripheral equipment and connected computers to classified networks. Worked with information technology personnel as a junior network analyst in conducting network analysis and defense. Areas of work include; network topology studies, system backup configurations, troubleshooting of network/operating systems, installed/updated computer and server virus detection, monitored systems for intrusion vulnerabilities providing/implementing corrective actions, and applied IA principles and organizational requirements as required by the customer. Training and Curriculum Development Coordinator, instructed and developed over 320 hours of course curriculum.Conducted target development from initial stages to post mission debrief. Wrote tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
