As a closing coordinator at MCAP, I am responsible for ensuring that mortgage funds successfully reach clients and that all legal documents are filed correctly. I do this by utilizing a methodical approach to review confidential documents, resulting in the development of a streamlined assessment process financing over $5,000,000 of mortgage funds per day. As a representative of the company, I am also responsible for administering phone calls and emails to and from solicitors, instructing them on the funding process and answered any outstanding questions leading to a smoother customer experience and a decrease in solicitor errors made and a decrease in same day fundings.

As a part of the Federal Government's COVID-19 efforts to assist commercial landlords and Canadian businesses, they launched the CECRA program to assist in rent relief. As a CECRA program underwriter I evaluated applications in a detail oriented manner to ensure they were up to the CECRA standards, processing over $50 000 a day in commercial rent relief. I also communicated to property owners, in both French and English, the status of their application and any next steps required, leading to faster processing and more Canadians being helped in these trying times.

As a Digital Marketer for Prepr, I gained further experience in digital marketing as well as website management, Agile methodology and content design/creation. I was entrusted with developing digital marketing plans for LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. In developing these plans, I used analytics to define target audiences and designed content for various stakeholders. These plans resulted in new users signing up for the platform and providing external stakeholders with information on Prepr while using online content management software. I also worked on a team to help develop the Prepr Futur{e}Challenge, an initiative that explores the impact of disruptive & 4IR technologies on management capabilities and skills within 8 selected industries. In creating the Futur{e}Challenge, I worked on a team to design supporting collateral and work on outreach to relevant businesses and leaders. During my time at Prepr, I had an insightful look into digital marketing, content creation as well as app development and UX Design. I gained collaborative experience as well as personal management and organization skills through meeting sprint deadlines. I was exposed to B2B as well as B2C transactions and learned about numerous processes required to operate an organization.

As a part of the Campus Events Team, I interacted with various stakeholders while encouraging upcoming event attendance and handing out promotional items resulting in successful knowledge of programming and a stronger turnout at events. This enabled me to gain stronger communication skills with external stakeholders as well as improve my sales abilities. In addition, I collaborated with a friendly and energetic team to help execute various campus events such as Mac Survivor and Headphone Disco resulting in an enjoyable student experience for McMaster Students. This experience overall provided me with a knowledge of event planning and promotion as well as allowing me to work on a dynamic team while providing positive experiences for McMaster Students.

As an Off-Campus Community Advisor, I was entrusted with organizing and conducting campus and facility tours for incoming students to answer questions, raise awareness of all campus services and spark an interest in the school. I was also tasked with guiding freshmen through orientation activities and mentored them during the school year.During my experience working with Residence Life, I had an insightful outlook into residence management, student leadership as well as program facilitation. I have improved on communication skills with students, project management and event promoting through many events I coordinated, including a student trip to Niagara Falls.
