In my role as Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology, I am responsible for:Managing the clinical and research endeavors in the Young Adult and Adolescent ADHD Services (YAAAS) Lab (uicadhd.org). Currently, we are conducting a school-based preventive intervention trial for reducing the risk of depression among adolescents with ADHD (MH117086; MPI: Meinzer & Chronis-Tuscano). I am also launching The Transition to College Study to begin Summer 2020. The study will examine the transition from high school into college and throughout the first semester of freshman year in students with and without ADHD. In addition to research projects, I am the co-founder of the SUCCEEDS ADHD Clinic at the University of Maryland. I will be launching and directing the SUCCEEDS ADHD Clinic at UIC beginning Fall 2020. Faculty in the Masters in Professional Studies in Clinical Science Program. I taught 5 graduate level classes including Research Methods, Clinical Assessment, Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, Child and Adolescent Interventions, and the Master's capstone course.

Currently managing an NIAAA funded R34 grant that consists of developing and piloting an intervention for college students with ADHD who engage in problematic drinking. The intervention contains both behavioral activation and motivational interviewing componets.

Teaching Assistant for Abnormal Psychology and Social and Developmental Psychology. Responsibilities included guest lecturing and grading exams and assignments.

Implemented Laboratory School Protocol which included administration of PERMP exams and their subsequent scoring and leading academic group games within the context of a stimulant medication drug trial.

Implemented behavior modification treatment during an intensive 8 week summer camp for adolescents with ADHD. During the summer of 2009 and 2010 I served as a counselor where duties included leading recreational activities and implementing individualized programs. During the summer of 2011 I served as a classroom instructor using behavior modification while implementing study skills and note taking interventions.

Was hired to assist with the "Paths over Time" Longitudinal Study where I managed data and transcribed interviews.
