My passion is to facilitate and manage the processes of purchasing and selling sectional title apartments and freehold properties from the initial phases of the transaction through the process of offer acceptance, to the handover of keys and then after sales process. I primarily focus on the sale of sectional title apartments, guest houses, apartment blocks and houses on the Atlantic Seaboard and the City Bowl area of Cape Town.

In 2002 I invented, patented, designed and developed the PoleCat clasp and connections system. Using project management techniques, I was responsible for the research and development process, brand creation, organisational structure development, identifying and developing markets, marketing campaigns strategies, production processes and information flow design of the PoleCat organisation.Once the business was established, I became responsible for:• identifying client requirements in various industries and markets, • customizing product offerings through designing and development and • designing production processes required to manufacture components. • developing and implementing the packaging and distribution of finished products. PoleCat clients included Hang Ten, Checkers, Cape Union Mart, ABSA, SA Breweries, Clover, Juta Books store, Oasys Exhibitions.In 2006 WITS Business School selected PoleCat, as a start-up business, for case study purposed.

Carpets Inc was a carpeting, vinyl and laminated flooring company supplying and installing floor coverings in and around Cape Town. As managing director of this company I was responsible for organising and controlling the admin department, the sales reps, sub contractors,buying, jobs costing , calling on specifiers such as architects, interior designers and decorators. In 1998 I attain the Southern African distributorship for 2 of the largest carpeting and hand tufted rug manufacturers in the world namely, Mohawk Industries, listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Tai Ping Rugs of China, a Super Brand company, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. While focusing heavily on the hospitality and commercial market I was responsible for managing: carpet and rug design, specifying the correct product for their applications,costing,negotiating prices and purchasing stock,financial management, importing carpets and rugsplanning installations,delivery and installation to customer satisfaction. My clients included upmarket hotels, cluster home developments, commercial, offices and many residential installations.
