Managing a group of highly skilled Technical consultants, delivering services in the field of Mobile Telephony in three locations, La Vigie and Meudon in France and Johannesburg in South Africa. Covering 48 countries in Sub Saharan Africa, , budget of EUR 100MuMain responsibilities includes defining the strategy and objectives for the team, based on global Gemalto strategies and objectives, ensure the team is empowered with the necessary tools and trainings to deliver the objectives, ensure objectives and vision of Gemalto is understood, ensure team is continuously motivated, creating conducive environment for the team to grow, ensuring vibes in the team.Coordinating with other teams, account management, field marketing, solution sales, development, customer services, product marketing, Customer Profile Centre, teams on projects and priorities. Other activities include promoting new technologies, Gemalto solutions (demonstrating latest technologies and solutions), answering to tenders, customer training, Pre-sales, telecoms consultancy, Management of Customer projects; from Customer application specification writing to development of applications and software, product testing and delivery of final customer products. Providing technical support to customers and internal sales, solutions sales and marketing organizationCustomer needs gathering to provide feedback to product marketing, entails spending time with customers to understand their strategy, needs and environment for Gemalto to provide solutions to meet those needs to help our clients grow their business.
