Families are also introduced to proper dieting. This project has also helped to build the community and increase agricultural yields. 2. Agricultural Extension and Marketing Project (AEMDP)Through this project, hill tribe families are taught practical skills in agriculture that enable them to be self-reliant. The villagers continue to apply what they learn which greatly enhances their quality of life. 3. Thai Tribal Arabica Coffee Production and Marketing Project / Cooperative (TTACPMP)ITDP facilitates the production, processing and marketing of Arabica green coffee beans, which is sold locally and internationally. Starbucks, Boncafe, Coffee Works are three of the many international buyers. These efforts are aimed at promoting and developing small tribal coffee farmer production groups. 4. Lanna CoffeeCoffee shop in Chiang Mai that assists the hill tribe coffee co-op by buying and roasting green coffee beans; in addition this project helps to educate institutions and consumers on fair-trade practices. Roasted coffee is sold throughout Thailand, USA and other international market. 5. Education and Social Development Project (ESDP)Through this project, education is available to children and adults in the community. They learn skills that help them to be better communicators and prepare them for further education. Skills in handicraft production, quality control and marketing outlets are introduced to villagers. This project facilitates and assists in the construction of village schools and clinics.
