Key member of the International team managing the roll out of Swiss-Co; the planned consolidation of all Raw Materials Purchasing and Supply functions across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. Responsibilities included Material Supply Planning System set-up (Manugistics), audit of regional Packaging and Seasonings specifications and System integrity testing for June 1st 1999 rollout deadline. Responsible for 6 converters supplying Snacks facilities across the region reporting to the Group Purchasing Manager - Packaging. Responsibilities included:1. Annual Operating Plan preparation for BOPP Base Films for Snacks.2. Management of commercial relationships between BOPP Film Suppliers (ExxonMobil, Trespaphan, Vibac, Bimo) and our Printed Film Suppliers (Lawson Mardon, Printpack et. al.).3. Negotiation of Volume allocations and Net Price levels for PP films at the end of each year to meet both the AOP Purchasing Budget as well as the ROIC targets of our Suppliers.4. Ensuring 100% supply of Base Films to our Printed Film Suppliers.5. Auditing value and deposits of incentive allowances for Base Film Purchases.6. Coordination of trials of innovative packaging films with R&D and Operations.7. Rollout of Vendor Managed Inventory process with all Base Film Suppliers by end 2001.

Assigned to lead the implementation of the Pepsi Logistics & Manufacturing Software (PL&M System) and associated Processes. Responsibilities included system installation at Plants and Distribution Centers across the Business Unit, training of Plant and Warehouse Management to operate and maintain the Sales Forecasting, Inventory Control, Production Scheduling and Primary Distribution modules. Reported to the Russia Business Unit Logistics Director.Accomplishments: System rollout was expanded to include JV bottling plants (4) and hub DC’s (4) in Eastern Russia in addition to the PepsiCo bottling plant and DC’s (4). Implementation progress halted following the 1998 financial crisis and subsequent assignment to Frito-Lay International.
