Mike has over 30 years’ experience in Leadership Development, Board and Executive Team Development, Executive Coaching and Change Management. In the 80s he worked with John Heron, one of the pioneers of this field at the Human Potential Research Project (University of Surrey) and was an Associate Fellow of Warwick Business School. He was a consultant with Decision Development, working with CEOs and SLT of Mars, Trebor, Scot Bader, Bowater and CEGB. In1984 he co-founded Praxis with Anouk Grave (now Global Resonance). Their clients included Unilever, Nationwide, Freightliner, Guinness Ireland, Morgan Stanley, HMRC, The Metropolitan Police (where he co-designed the programme to tackle institutional racism following the Macpherson report), The British Postgraduate Medical Federation, ABRO, and Coutts Consulting, and coaching the CEO and SMT of Freightliner as the company took over half of the privatised British Rail Freight. In 2010 he joined Steve Radcliffe Associates. He has worked with the CEO, Board and top team of Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Marie Curie, NSPCC, The Police Ombudsman of Northern Ireland. He has delivered leadership programmes for The Home Office, DWP, DFID, The Highways Agency, HMRC, Eon, Northern Ireland Civil Service, and the HSE. Most recently he has worked with the Department for Exiting the European Union, Department for International Trade, The Bank of England, and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) He runs Mindfulness programmes for www.skyros.com, in Greece and Isle of Wight.He has written for film and tv, in the 90's 'Exceptional Leave to Remain' (Channel 4), and in the films 'Inertia', opening at the London Raindance Film Festival, and ‘Bipolar’ which premiered in the 2006 Edinburgh Film Festival, with Anna Campion. He is a co-author of 'The Personal Management Handbook' (Time Warner) 'Impausible Professions' (PCCS) and recently published a translation of ‘Dreams like Enigmatic Paintings’ by Henri Michaux (Vanguard)
