Bhpb Olympic Dam Mine (Scm21 Project) - Roxby Downs, Sa

E2o were contracted to provide E&I commissioning services at BHBP’s Olympic Dam uranium oxide, copper, gold and silver mining and processing operation, as part of the Smelter Campaign Maintenance 2021 Project (SCM21). Employed as a Lead Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician for commissioning, my core role deliverables included:► Led a team of 8 Electrical and Instrumentation (INLEC) Technicians to ensure the overall safe, on-time and high-quality programming, calibration, loop testing, functional testing, diagnostics, commissioning, start-up and maintenance of:☛ Pressure, level, flow, density, temperature, vibration, speed, weight, fire and gas detectors, transmitters and sensors, positioners, relays, controllers, safety critical and control valves, DCS, SCADA, SIS, ESD’s, LV cabling, substations, and single and 3-phase motors (as well as the use of HART and Foundation Fieldbus protocol devices for calibrations)► Developed BHP THA’s for commissioning works and live testing of equipment, ensured E&I Technicians were signed onto and working under correct permits, and worked closely with Area Owners to coordinate live testing works and isolations► Stage 2 and 3 commissioning of flash furnace ancillary equipment including water jacket systems, Blister and Slag mud guns and tapping drills, and verified, rectified and tested a wide range of process plant equipment ► Worked as a key contact for Bechtel engineers, submitting ITR’s and signing off ITP’s for completed works using Smart Completions CCMS ► Glanding and termination of instrumentation cables, QA/QC of punch lists, and redlining and greenling drawings► Worked closely with the main Vendor (TMT).

► Siemens for construction of SVC (Static Var Compensator) substation, including installation of 3 transformers, capacitor banks, static volt amp compensator equipment, HV wiring systems, HV/LV switch boards, control wiring and earthing► ABB for construction of a 330kV/33kV GIS substation, including installation of gas insulated switchgear, LV switch boards, control wiring, and substation earthing.

Northconnex Tunnel Project - Pennant Hill, Nsw

► Coordinated and supervised a team of 30 E&I Technicians to execute the testing and commissioning of the following E&I systems and equipment safely, on-time, and as per the schedule:☛ Traffic management systems and associated cameras, speed and warning signs (TMS and ISLUS), as well as tunnel air speed sensors, air quality sensors, deluge fire systems, linear heat detection systems, tunnel lighting, Allen Bradley 24V DC RIO controls for LV switchboards, PLC’s, UPS, MCC’s, DB’s and CB’s☛ PAGA, data and communications systems, single and 3-P motors, transformers, switchgear, panels, general lighting and power circuits, LV cables into essential and non-essential LV DB’s, and cables, trays and support systems ► Level III testing of control subsystems (including testing of apparatus feedback cables to Allen Bradley 1734-AENT Series B equipment), testing of tunnel LV and ELV control systems (ensuring all relays inputs and output wiring from RIO cards were connected to and drove the correct asset), and testing and commissioning of the fibre DLR network ► Provided commissioning support to engineers during Level IV and V testing, provided field assistance to engineers during site acceptance and functional testing, and conducted Level VI Integration testing of tunnel control and safety systems ► Rewired air speed and air quality transmitter control boxes to facilitate extra 4-20mA signals and loop power configuration ► Design change works, including switchboard panel wiring, installation of relays, contactors, TOL’s and power supply units ► Completed ITP’s, ITR’s and NCR’s, QA/QC of punch lists, and redlining and greenling of drawings.

Westconnex M4 East Tunnel - Haberfield, Nsw

CPB were awarded a D&C contract by Sydney Motorway Corporation for Sydney’s M4 East Motorway. Seven km’s long, the M4 East joins the M4 Widening at Homebush Bay Drive and provides a 5.5km tunnel with 3 lanes in each direction from the M4 at North Strathfield to Parramatta Road and City West Link, Haberfield. Employed as M&E Supervisor, my core role deliverables included:► Coordinated and supervised subcontractor teams to ensure the safe, on-time and on-budget installation, termination, loop testing, functional testing and/or commissioning of the following M&E systems and equipment for tunnels and construction of 4 electrical substations, 46 electrical equipment rooms, water treatment plant, fire pump facilities, fire water tanks: ☛ Traffic management systems and associated cameras, speed and warning signs (TMS and ISLUS), tunnel air speed sensors, air quality sensors, deluge fire systems, linear heat detection systems, LV and control switchboards, PLC’s, UPS, MCC’s, DB’s, CB’s and temperature, vibration, speed and weight detectors, transmitters and sensors ☛ Crown and sidewall ladders, cross passages, HVAC control gear and exit signs for the tunnel, and HV, LV and communications cables from surface substations into tunnel cross passages ☛ PAGA, data and communications systems, single and 3-phase motors, transformers, switchgear, panels, earthing systems, general power and lighting circuits, HV and LV cabling and support systems ► Monitored project costs (including labour and materials), and ensured project standards and schedules were maintained► Provided technical expertise to address and rectify issues or problems arising from unexpected jobsite conditions ► Design, verification and approval of isolations to ensure safe access to de-energised systems and equipment► Developed and completed ITP’s, ITR’s and NCR’s, and conducted QA/QC of punch lists.

Inpex Ichthys Lng Project (Onshore Facility) - Darwin, Nt
