Provide technical supervision for the Division or Corporate Engineering Department by performing the following duties personally or through Engineers and Drafters. Work directly with the Engineering Manager and regarded throughout Tindall Corporation as a leader for technical guidance.Responsible for generating or reviewing designs and drawings for the precast concrete system from construction documents consisting of architectural and structural drawings and specifications. Interface with sales, estimating, project management, and operations, as well as the customer (general contractor and architect/engineer) to accomplish the task of engineering package generation, submittal and approval, then supplying the plant with details and information for fabrication and erector with plans and information for construction and for resolving any questions, conflicts or issues in these areas as they may arise.Support the Sales Department by providing technical assistance in the development of the project scope and details. Actively participate as a member of the Engineering Standards Committee in the development of company-wide design and detailing standards.Develop project schedules for the engineering department working in conjunction with the plant scheduler and project requirements, identifying resource requirements.Generate monthly revenue reports and reviews costs as required by accounting for the development of month-end profit/loss statements.Provide employees with the proper training, guidance, and motivation for the development of professional skills as required to meet the company’s organizational needs.Evaluate staffing, training, and performance appraisals.

Responsible for managing design and detailing teams for structures in the precast industry, including parking garages, office, education, stadiums/arenas, correctional facilities, hotels/motels, warehouse and production facilities. Responsibilities include analyzing work load and projecting manpower needs, development of plans and calculations, design team management, quality assurance, coordination within and among design team members and overall customer satisfaction for the successful completion of all projects. Use leadership skills, creating an atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie to effectively manage both small and large-scale projects while providing a high level of service to the client. Prepared cost estimates and schedules along with conducting and attending meetings with clients. Responsible for hiring personnel to form a full team to run successful projects. Due to the downturn in the economy and the birth of my daughter we decided to move back to PA.
