Member of EMEA leadership team and responsible for advising and updating senior management on EHS issues and establishing safety and sustainability goals. Executed programs to fully comply with REACH, GHS, ATEX and other European regulatory requirements.

Responsible for developing and managing global environmental programs for Schering-Plough, and providing environmental, health and safety (EH&S) support to approximately 65 pharmaceutical and animal health manufacturing sites. Provided technical and regulatory support to corporate and site engineering on capital projects. Implemented multiple environmental engineering projects in the U.S. and globally. Responsibility for the following global programs: sustainable chemistry, EH&S technology transfer, EH&S assessments and support to contract manufacturers, remediation and acquisition/divestiture due diligence, waste facility qualifications, environmental standards and guidelines, metrics and climate change/energy conservation. Direct line management responsibility for 9 EHS professions in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia and indirect oversight of operating site EHS departments.
