Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Program Manager for $35M OPM-SANG Modernization and Security Assistance Program consisting of approximately 300 military and civilian personnel. We assist the Ministry of the National Guard (MNG) in modernizing their equipment and training; educating their Soldiers; and constructing new facilities and infrasrtucture. As the senior enlisted advisor for the Program Manager (BG Laughlin) I will ensure that policies and standards of the performance, training, appearance, and conduct of all Soldiers and civilians here at OPM-SANG. I will advise the Commander, Staff and our counter parts in SANG in all matters. We will assist and build competent and capable units, and proficient leaders to meet the goals of SANG. My goals are to mentor, coach our Soldiers and the SANG. Advise the SANG in building a strong and proficient NCO Corps as well as to the standard training. We will accomplish this by adhering to Army Standards, enforcing those Standards and as leaders mentor, coach and counsel all Soldiers everyday!

Soldier and leader development for 14 different MOS skills sets. Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities pertaining to organization, training, combat operations, and combat intelligence. Supervises operations center in the Squadron and higher level units. Collects interprets, analyzes, evaluates , and disseminates intelligence information and data. Edits and prepares NCO evaluations, counseling, awards, tactical operations, plans and orders. Coordinates implementation of operations, training programs, and communications activities.

Served as a Command Sergeant Major in a Heavy Brigade Combat Team consisting of five Battalions, one Cavalry Squadron and the Brigade HHC, 4200 Soldiers, ensures the combat readiness of over 1230 vehicles and pieces of equipment valued in the excess of 941 million dollars. Served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Brigade Commander, advises, gives assistance and initiates recommendations to the Brigade Commander (Colonel, the Brigade Staff and the Battalion/Squadron Command Sergeants Majors) on all matters; ensuring mission accomplishment, discipline and accountability while fostering a culture of dignity and respect. Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities pertaining to organization, training, combat operations, and combat intelligence. Supervises operations center and lower level units. Served as the Operations Sergeant Major for a Heavy Brigade Combat Team Reconnaissance Squadron in the rapid deploying 3rd Infantry Division; responsible for the S3 section's work distribution for schools, tasking, individual, section training and maintenance; principle assistance to the Squadron Operations Officer; ensures the Tactical Operations Center is established by the Squadron TACSOP; overseas the planning, resourcing and execution of both near and far plans to include Squadron, Brigade, and Division tasking; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, morale, training and safety of 30 Soldiers; supervises installation property valued in excess of $20,000,000.

Camp Casey, Korea

Served as the First Sergeant of a Headquarters and Headquarters Company in a forward deployed combined arms battalion in the Republic of Korea. Responsible for health, morale, and welfare of 277 MTOE authorized Soldiers. Overseas maintenance and accountability of 75 vehicles and ancillary equipment valued in excess of $70 million; responsible for planning and supervising individual training for 277 Soldiers to ensure they can support and win the battalion's wartime mission; responsible for providing a safe, caring, and disciplined environment; Senior Enlisted Advisor o the Company Commander on all enlisted management issues.

Ft Knox Ky

Served as a First Sergeant in one of the largest Cavalry Squadrons in the United States Army with a TDA mission of equipment and Soldier support to the United States Army Armor School. Responsible for training, safety, discipline caring environment, morale and welfare for 130 Soldiers. Responsible for the day to day operations of the Troop, troubleshoots problems and provides advice and guidance to the Troop Commander as his Senior Enlisted Advisor.

Responsible for the training, safety, health, morale and welfare of four Noncommissioned Officers (Platoon Cadre) and 64 Armor Officer Basic Course (AOBC) student Lieutenants annually, preparing them to be Platoon Leaders, supervising in the training of maintenance, weapons, tactics, and leadership, an the accountability of organizational equipment valued in excess of 10 million dollars during field operations.
