Integral member of Cadmus' growing International Environment and Development team. Core Responsibilities Include:*Primary activity management responsibilities for >$1M in USAID-funded technical support activities under the Global Environmental Management Support (GEMS II) Contract, for which Cadmus serves as Prime Contractor.*A leader within Cadmus' International Environment and Development practice in identification and pursuit of strategic business development opportunities, including with World Bank, UNDP, OPIC, and USAID.*Lead identification of need for -- and implementation of follow through on -- strategic hires for the International Environment and Development practice to ensure continued high performance during period of growth, and in the face of turnover of key team members.*Mentor and supervisor to new hires and junior staff, through direct supervision, provision of hands-on feedback, and modelling strong technical execution, project management, and internal and external communication.Ongoing and Recent Project Work includes:*Activity manager for Collaborative Assessment (USAID, JEU, and UNHCR) for Environment in Humanitarian Action, a $500K initiative to improve integration of (and between) environmental assessments into humanitarian assistance.*Activity manager and Team Leader for Tropical Forest and Biodiversity Assessments for USAID/E. Africa and USAID/Kenya*Lead Trainer for Environmental Compliance and Environmentally Sound Design and Management Workshops for USAID Staff and Partners (2016 Trainings include: Guinea, Jordan, Liberia, and Kenya x2)*Support USAID's development and implementation of Climate Risk Management screening processes -- and their integration into existing Environmental Impact Assessment processess -- in response to Executive Order 13677: Climate Resilient International Development.
