Direct responsibilities included the management of the continuous operations in the manufacturing, packaging, receiving and shipping, maintenance, and repack department utilizing a staff of 12 direct reports. In my role as change leader for the operation, I was the site champion for continuous improvement. • Fortified an asset utilization increase of 12% by demonstrating a reduction in quality DPTO through resolving root causes of problems and inconsistencies in the batch making process. • Utilized common KPIs to measure operating performance and attack waste in the process. Achieved a changeover time reduction of 45% through implementation of cellular manufacturing, and externalizing & streamlining steps.
