Accountable for leading health plan operations, strategic planning, and P&L performance for all Evolent Medicaid markets. Identifying new business targets and building relationships with new client stakeholders and Board Members. Establishing strategic priorities, capital investments, and resource planning across markets in order to meet revenue and net income targets. Responsible for leading Medicaid RFP response efforts and launching new health plan markets. Establishing positive relationships with Regulators, and Legislators.

Miami Children’s Health Plan was created through a joint venture between Nicklaus Children’s Health System (75% owner) and Evolent Health (25%) in 2018. The health plan launched operations in 2018 and serve Medicaid beneficiaries in South Florida. Responsible for launching a new health plan in 150-days to meet member open enrollment, building a new provider network in order to meet network adequacy requirements, leading the marketing and branding strategy for a new health plan, hiring 50 local market staff, and developing strong and effective relationships with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA)

Accountable for local market performance and the P&L responsibility for a $1.7 billion health plan with 225,000 Medicaid and Medicare members. Directing and leading over 170 Kentucky based clinical and operational staff located across six Kentucky offices. Maintaining and developing strong and effective relationships with Kentucky providers, State Cabinet Officials, Department of Insurance, Community Advocates, and State Legislators.
