I am a licensed physician and computational biologist who completed an MD-PhD at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, training in experimental biology and worked clinically for over two years in northern Sweden before embarking upon a postdoc in the Tirosh lab at the Weizmann Institute. Here, I developed and applied computational methods to studying the clinical impacts of intratumour heterogeneity in head and neck cancer. I have taught at all levels, supervised PhD students and published groundbreaking research in major, high-impact journals.I am highly skilled in analyses of big data, with a particular focus on single-cell methods, and have a long experience working with clinical samples and datasets. With my uniquely broad skillset, integrating experimental, clinical and computational skills, I am passionate about leveraging cutting-edge science to bring direct benefit to cancer patients.
