Senior Ehs Analyst
CurrentPosition: Senior EHS Analyst• Responsible for ensuring that the facilities are in compliance with various health and safety regulations.• Experience with ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001• Lean, 5S, and Kaizen experience• All on-site contractor projects and contractor management program• Responsible for all on-site fall protection, confined space, machine guarding, electrical guarding, lockout/tag out and transportation programs.• Responsible for waste management of all onsite hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste.• Leads site risk assessment team for work station risk assessments.• Program leader and developer of EATON-Vicksburg recycling program.• Leader of the ergonomics program and implementation of all ergonomics onsite.• Instructor and manager of onsite EATON personnel and contractor training and implementation with the use of E-Safety software.• Analyzing various onsite machineries; staying updated on various EHS norms; conducting safe practices in environmental health and safety; establishing guidelines and training for workers and technicians in the use of machinery; promoting environmental health and safety programs through-out the organization; assisting the management on long term safety issues; and performing several other tasks as required. • MESH Deployment (Culture, Process & Compliance, and Results)• Supports efforts for third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton’s maintenance and EHS programs to higher standards.• Closure rate of corrective actions• Keeps the EHS manager informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the analyst knowledge or authority.
