I am an autonomous open minded person that enjoys a challenge, is driven to succeed, and focused on the task at hand. For the past 30 years, 20 of which while in the military, I have been actively engaged in the health care environment. I found a tremendous amount of satisfaction in caring for those that seek our help. In no comparison, I also felt an equal amount of accomplishment while training, educating, mentoring and managing those that provide medical services to the patrons of our organizations. In the past I have held positions such as a physical therapy assistant, licensed practical nurse, clinic manager, education supervisor, department supervisor, leading to my current position as one of the hospital’s safety officers. Each job has had its’ own challenges and rewards. As my career progressed, my levels of responsibility transcended the previous positions allowing for a greater sense of accomplishment, not just for myself, but for those around me.I love working with people, teaching them to recognize right from wrong; enforcing policies and establishing change while promoting new cultures beneficial to the staff and beneficiaries. My reward is their accomplishment. When time permits, my greatest is passion is the time I spend with my wife and two daughters. I enjoy the simplest moments from sitting and watching them play games to vacations in the mountains or beach. I love the outdoors, and when given the opportunity, will be spending most of my free time outside. Football is an addiction of mine and the Green Bay Packers or Michigan Wolverines are the drug of choice
