Taking a poorly design and written controller, and making it beautiful just might be one of the best feelings in the world!That has also allowed me to learn the art of writing tests for the code I write. So the challenge becomes not just reading old, smelly code, but understanding it, fixing it, and making sure the fixes do what it’s intended to do. It doesn’t get much better than that.I have also been able to use my knowledge as a Stock Plan and Equity Compensation ninja, to benefit my team and my projects tremendously. I use what I know to quickly diagnose if errors or issues brought up are code driven or data input driven. With that understanding I can work with my team to best resolve the issue. Weather it’s getting on the phone with the client to resolve their data issue, or collaborating with Product leaders and teammates to fix code issues, I love doing it all.
