I have extensive and diverse experience in policy development, law implementation and administration, litigation, organisational arrangements, governance and integrity, leadership, communication, international relations and strategic management. With vision and relationships, I led the implementation of the highly controversial Superannuation Guarantee; and was instrumental in the success of the multi agency and multi country and also highly controversial Operation Wickenby, which led to substantial beneficial changes to tax havens and attitudes to tax evasion. By building collaborative networks, I also developed and implemented many changes to taxation, litigation and policy laws. In 20 years at the Senior Executive Band 2 level in the Australian Taxation Office I held over 10 different business and policy leadership roles, and formed many innovative and unique networked forums across the public and private sector. Out of work, I have a strong photography interest, and have been undertaking extensive research into my family history which is integral to the creation from the earliest days of the European settlement of Tasmania.
