Provide leadership and oversight within Field Operations Division. Offers a strong background in training and Occupational Health and Safety as evidenced by various dual high-level roles and responsibilities. • Serve in various capacities including: Supervising Chief Officer, Emergency Operations Incident Commander, Incident Safety Officer, Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic, Special Operations Rescue and Hazmat Technician, Station Administrative Officer.• Serve as a Training Division Adjunct Instructor, Field Training Officer, Fire Training Instructor. • Participate in the Leadership Development Committee, the Employee Performance Appraisal Development Committee. • Assign and supervise the shift of fire fighters for the Second Platoon.• Oversee testing and maintenance of standard and special operations equipment; maintain department records.• Lead trainings and drill evaluations at all levels; evaluate officer performance and make recommendations. • Maintain knowledge of NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, state statues and administrative codes pertaining to emergency services and occupational health.• Perform emergency duties of the Department's Incident Safety Officer or Incident Command at emergency scenes.• Develop, implement and manage procedures to assist fire department members who have suffered an occupational injury, infectious disease exposure or injury.

- Responded to & successfully led district-wide responses to rescue operations, fires, & medical emergencies- Deployed as the Plans Section Chief with the New Orleans Fire Department for the Hard Rock Hotel Collapse- Deployed to Florida for Hurricane Irma with the New Orleans Fire Department IMT

Facilitated Hurricane Katrina rescue operations as the Plans Section Chief - Assisted the Plans Section Chief at Operational Readiness Exercise for the Federal TXTF1- Attended the All-Hazards IMT conference in Texas in November 2009 with GOHSP- Deployed to Tuscaloosa, AL with LATF1 USAR team for an EF5 Tornado- Deployed to Plaquemines Parish & Hammond for flood preparedness during Hurricane Isaac
