As Director of Development, I guide all aspects of Development Department operations and personnel. Responsibilities include lead proposal writing, presentation development, generation of sales collateral, research and pursuit of new development opportunities to expand THC markets, management of sales efforts for follow up with conference and trade show prospects, direct exhibit booth setup and tear down, establishment and maintenance of business relationships with firms for teaming opportunities, direct development of booth displays and website, and management of advertising campaigns.As one of two Directors, I serve as a true business partner to the President and key member of the Company’s Executive Leadership staff. I am responsible for crafting my department budget and periodically modifying expenditures to match my approved budget, managing Development personnel, assisting employees with their needs, aiding in the development of company policy and culture, advising corrective action on personnel issues and supporting efforts to ensure positive growth of the company.

Managed territory sales and marketing of revolutionary ear thermometer for the professional and retail market, territory was Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Clients included drug wholesalers, hospitals, physician offices, nursing homes, fire stations, day care centers and medical supply companies. Rode territories with medical sales reps to teach them how to sell the thermometer to their clients; I exceeded sales goals every year and was only rep selected to Sales Advisory panel two years in a row during my employment.
