I am a researcher in the National Security Division of PNNL where I will be working EM/RF challenges with an emphasis on AI/ML.I was a researcher in the Air Forces AFRL/RW branch at Eglin AFB, FL. I am worked on automatic target recognition and cyber solutions, often with a machine learning aspect. I stood up a sensor fusion program for munitions during my last two years.I was a Distinguished R&D Staff Member and Program Manager in the National Security Sciences Directorate of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I was involved in secure communications, cognitive radio and signal processing for 32 years. In more recent times I have become interested in applying machine learning techniques to cyber physical security. In that vein, I was recently awarded a PhD at Tennessee Technological University (Dec 2018) with the dissertation title: Machine Learning for Cyber Physical System Protection of CAN Bus Enabled Vehicles Using Driver State Discovery.
