As the Chief Administrative Officer, I am the primary link between municipal Council, municipal staff and the community. I provide support to Council as they set policy and strategic priorities, and provide organizational leadership implementing Council directives. On a daily basis, I provide strategic advice and support to Mayor and Council, interact with community groups and other government agencies, such as federal, First Nations, provincial and regional agencies, as well as social service agencies that serve the community. Internally, I work with senior managers to deliver the vision of Council through identified levels of service, planned budgets and managed resources.
