As the Group Director - Sales & Marketing, I reported directly to the President and was accountable for the sale of $100M+ of Motion Control and Guidance & Navigation Products for the Commercial Aerospace, Defense and Industrial customers in support of Land, Sea, Air and Space applications. My department consisted of 3 departments; Sales & Marketing, Contracts and Program Management across 3 different site locations; Little Falls, NJ, Black Mountain, NC and Matamoros Mexico.

Appointed by Woodward executive leadership to oversee the largest development program within the Aircraft Systems Division. Held the position of Program Manager for a $16 million dollar engineering manufacturing and development (EMD) program to support a major USAF program. The program performance met the customer expectations and the program metrics were meeting performance goals.

Oversaw the program management responsibility for the cockpit controls work package to support a major regional aircraft development program. This included managing multiple integrated product team(s) (IPT) to design, manufacture, test and deliver systems on budget and on schedule. Responsibilities include all product development activities with developing, designing and testing the Throttle Quadrant LRU and Rudder Pedal LRU applications.

Oversaw and managed resources that designed, built and tested the 25 largest prototype developments in the company. Managed 5 or more full-time program managers while executing direct program responsibilities. Developed and assembled a suite of metrics to measure the resource planning, scheduling, and cost control parameters for the major program developments. Directed a group of proposal writers, technical writers and administrative staff that generated over 75 business proposals per year.
