Utilized Morton Parts and CAT Used Parts network to remove and disposition $723K of noncurrent and unused inventory for Forestry NPI programs.• Implemented a cycle count program for Facility and warehouse inventory, improving overall inventory accuracy 58%, from 29% in 2015 to 87% in 2019.

The project provided a “seamless” transition plan in service part supply to Morton Service Parts Network.• Identified and drove to closure cost reduction ideas of In House and Interplant suppliers of Motor Grader material totaling $2.75M, contributing to the Team’s $23M cost reduction achievement in 2009.

Team reduced inventory from $10.5M to $2.75M, raised supplier delivery performance from 67.2% to 79.1%, and improved inventory turns from 9.2 to 13.1 from all Interplant suppliers.
