I am currently employed as a Full Time Teacher at Nativity Preparatory School of New Bedford, MA. My primary teaching responsibilities include teaching 6th grade Reading and Language Arts, 6th grade Mythology (Greek), 5th grade Math, and 5th grade Morals/Virtues. In addition, I am an adviser to seven students, through which I provide mentoring and academic help. Furthermore, I also hold the title of Assistant Athletic Director, and coach basketball and lacrosse. Through my current role and experience at Nativity Prep, I believe that I have demonstrated a strong aptitude for working with students in general and specifically with students in middle school. In general terms, I thrive on finding and meeting new challenges and during my short time at Nativity Prep, I have exhibited a strong aptitude for deciphering students’ individual learning habits to help them on a more personal level. This experience, along with my demonstrated work ethic and ability to successfully manage a classroom gives me confidence that I would be a valuable teaching asset to any school.
