A highly committed and experienced animator, with animation success and exposure on commercial Canadian television. I specialise in 2D and 3D animation, and digital compositing and am extremely interested in working to provide a professional level of assistance alone or as part of team.In 2008 I successfully worked with producers at the Much Music Television Company as part of a commercial work experience position, communicating effectively via the internet to produce an animated sequence featured in a pilot episode: “We're Experiencing Technical Difficulties”. Much Music's appreciation of my work lead them to request that I produce a short pilot animated series entitled “The Dawn of Comedy.” Both of these animations were aired on commercial Canadian Television and extracts are featured on my showreel. I graduated with a 2:1 BA(Hons) Visual Communication (Animation) degree from the University of Derby. A selection of animations have been included on my showreel, which demonstrate various visual styles, animation skills in character animation and visual story telling. I therefore have considerable experience in storyboarding, character design, rota-scoping and stop motion animation. I have produced animated adverts and campaigns for competition briefs in conjunction with D&AD(Design & Art Direction), for such companies as Prudential and the British Science Museum. Other competition work included; a recycling campaign for Derby County Council and an anti fur trade animation for the Fur Free Alliance.I am currently building on my knowledge of Adobe Flash CS5, Dreamweaver, and Autodesk 3D software such as Maya 2011 and 3D studio Max. By broadening my skills base, I hope to be able provide more innovative design solutions and ideas for a studio and its clients.Specialties: 6+ years experience using Adobe Creative suite software such as After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. 1 year working in 3D software such as Autodesk Maya or 3D Studio Max.
