• Start-up of the Pulverized Coal/ Injection Plant including initialization and implementation of plant routine and preventive maintenance, design, completion, and implementation of plant-wide spare parts system, installation and implementation of initial plant IT system, and controls network; • Continuous management of day to day and extended plant budget, including: invoicing of product, and raw materials, administration of purchases and outside services. • Continuous management of control and maintenance programs, and programming of plant HMI, and PLC control systems, including Allen Bradley PLC 5-80, 5-40’s, SLC-550e’s, 8 workstations with RS View, including projects for three plant wide control system upgrades, and four complete system overhauls. • Continuous management and maintenance of all electrical systems from (6.9k to 4-20ma), EM-80 grinding mills, including two Kie-tek hot gas generators, 800+ hp motors, gearboxes, bag houses, 2000 plus ton silos (fine and raw material), nitrogen compressors, belt conveyors ranging from 36” to 48” width with an availability rate never dropping below a 99.997% • Continuous management of plant wide environmental records and controls which has resulted in Zero environmental issues in twelve plus years of operation; • Continuous management and implementation of plant wide safety training, this has led to Zero lost time accidents in the plants twelve years of operation; • Leader of ten union and two salary employees • Manager of grievance resolution, contract negotiations, and hiring; resulting in an excellent company/Union relationship acting as partners rather than adversaries. • Assisted in the implementation of SAP being introduced into the company’s corporate structure, resulting in a smooth transition into the system with no visible effect to our customers. • Direct and ensure all contractors follow the guidelines.
