F-22 Air Vehicle Engineering Intern
• Improved a trailer’s maneuverability to expedite the positioning process by modeling a custom steering system on CATIA V5 as well as collaborating with fellow engineers to explore viable commercial steering options• Utilized lab results to present and propose to Boeing and Lockheed Martin leadership an upgrade on a piece of support equipment that will increase operational use by 30 percent, decreasing maintenance costs and enhancing reliability• Assisted with the assembly, shipping, and price analysis of a proposed Boeing furnished kit that will be used for a future upgrade on the F-22• Revised and published technical drawings for a F-22 hardware install to accommodate necessary modifications after determining that the initial design would not perform as desired within specified parameters
