• Prepare, negotiate, and oversee ASMSU’s service contracts that include student programs such as free legal services, ASMSU’s free readership program with USA Today, ASMSU’s Test Prep program, Red Cedar Log (ASMSU’s yearbook), and Domestic and International Student Health Insurance, which in total accounts for $714,058.28 of ASMSU’s $1.5 million budget.• Started implementation and pilot programs for both ASMSU’s safe ride and bike share programs, which will bring increased safety to campus and increase campus sustainability respectively. • Serve as the chief administrative officer and chair of the Executive Committee on Finance and Operations.• Serve as an elected ASMSU Office of the President member representing and working for MSU’s 36,000+ undergraduate students and lead a staff of other elected officials and hired staff of over 20 MSU students.

• Act as the chief administrative/executive officer of the Michigan State University Funding Board.• Facilitate meetings between the Funding Board and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) where the RSOs can present a request to receive up to $4,500 in Student Funding for an event or trip. • Oversee the Funding Board Comptroller in all financial obligations to RSOs.• Managed a financial budget of roughly $200,000 and lead a staff of 15 MSU students who served as a Board of Directors.• Created an MSU group based scholarship for RSO’s to receive excess funding of up to $1,000 for actively pursuing green initiatives on campus and in the community.

• Assist Dr. Shannon Sims (Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer) in his duties including setting organizational wide policies pertaining to data and patient record distribution.• Conduct legislative research, develop policy fact sheets, track federal and state legislation, and attend Rush operational policy meetings.• Interview and select Rush staff and employees to sit on Rush’s Data Stewardship Committee.• Create a policy recommendation for Rush’s Data Stewardship Committee to assist in drafting Rush’s Data Stewardship policy.• Create an incoming intern course syllabus and examination review on Informatics and HIPAA policy.

• Coordinated campus wide events for all Fraternity chapters to participate in to strengthen community and fraternal bonds between chapters as well as with the University.• Co-organized MSU’s Greek Relay for Life event in 2012, which raised roughly $250,000 for cancer research for the American Cancer Society; combined with the University’s general Relay for Life MSU placed 3rd in the country for money raised.• Created a Greek IM sports league for Fraternities and Sororities to compete in through a partnership with MSU’s recreational facilities that allowed Fraternities and Sororities a chance to compete against and with one another to help strengthen our community bond and raise money through athletic charity events for various national charities. • Assisted in the implementation of Greeks Stay Strong, which was a campus wide alcohol awareness program to help students both in and out of Greek Life gain helpful tips and facts for how to act responsible in social settings where alcohol is readily available.
