In addition to my depth of experience being both a hospital and system Chief Financial Officer in healthcare, I have been very involved in community service for my entire career.I'm currently the Finance Chair and member of the Executive Board for the YMCA of Central Florida, continue being on the board of the Heart of Florida United Way with 7 years as the Treasurer and on the finance committee for St. James Cathedral. Following 4 years as the President of the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation I have continued to serve as the Scholarship Chair for more than the last decade. In addition, I've previously volunteered with a variety of community not-for-profit organizations including being Treasurer of the West Orange Health Alliance, President and Treasurer of the Dana-Thomas House Foundation.One of my true passions is education which is why I serve as the lead instructor for Finance Basics and co-teach the Finance section in the Emerging Leaders and Advanced Leaders programs at Orlando Health. I was also a co-founder of the Finance Development Program at Orlando Health and continue my active involvement helping guide that group which has graduated 3 cohorts of rising stars.
