o I support the execution of ChildFund International’s grant acquisition strategy and realization of the resource mobilization strategy in-country (Kenya) in the implementation of CO’s country strategic plan. I lead the business development efforts and serve as the CO resource person on proposal coordination, prospecting potential donors and managing relationships. o I serve as the CO resource providing guidance and oversight on the effectiveness, scope, time and on-budget implementation of the CO’s grants portfolio. I handle issues related to the fiscal, administration and regulatory management of grants and contracts from award receipt through close-out.

o I led the business development activities - quality assurance and control, cultivated sustainable relationships with donors and strategic collaboration with the best research partners nationally and internationally.o I developed and set up processes and systems to support the business development efforts within the university and supported the university in developing the Strathmore University Research Management System (SURMS). o I ensured a targeted approach towards proposal writing instituted quality assurance measures and strengthened grantsmanship capability within the university.

Provided monitoring and evaluation support to Barclays Bank, SMEP MFB and Capacity Building for SMES in Western, Nyanza and Rift Valley regions under AGRA/Gok/IFAD PROFIT project.o Reviewed monitoring reports to assess interim impact and causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation.o Knowledge management and sharing across the 3 assignments as well as with the donor- AGRA, IFAD, GoK and other TSPso Reviewed the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) to meet reporting requirements and tracked progress.
