My responsibilities include and are not limited to student recruitment, working directly with prospective students and their families, marketing, organizing open houses, working directly with Prep faculty, students, parents, and alumni. Presenting and providing admissions updates to the Santa Fe Prep Board of Trustees.

I taught, juniors, United States History from the Colonial Era to the beginning of the 20th Century. I was also a class co-sponsor for the Junior class.

Executive Director, Breakthrough Santa FeIn 2003, I was hired as the founding Executive Director of Breakthrough Santa Fe, an affiliate of Breakthrough Collaborative. I was responsible for developing the program from the ground up including but not limited to: curriculum development, establishing an inclusive and dynamic culture for both students and staff, fundraising--I raised over $1,000,000 in my 8 years, managing a year-round and seasonal staff, recruitment and admission of students, as well as building strong relationships and collaborating with students, parents, Santa Fe Prep, the Santa Fe Public Schools, and the national Breakthrough Collaborative.

I taught at the SF Career Academy, a high school for mostly at-risk and disenfranchised students. The school used a computer-based curriculum and I was responsible for developing a traditional history curriculum for 9th through 12th grades.

I was a member of a 7th grade team of teachers. I taught New Mexico History and the Gifted and Talented (GATE) New Mexico History class as well. I also was an assistant middle school football coach.

I completed my student teaching experience at McCurdy, grades 9 through 12, and eventually taught 5th and 7th grade. I also coached middle school football and track.
