I am passionate about technology and logistical dynamics, bringing me to be analytical andproject orientated towards implementing best practices to exceed targeted goals.My time at Beserk’s warehouse was a rewarding experience where I engaged hands-on preparationand moving of facilities to a new location. A primary goal of the project was to finalise the move inan efficient and timely manner, while mitigating any operational interruptions. The concurrent saledeemed it necessary for us to adapt between fulfilling relocation goals and order obligations tosatisfy management and customer expectations. These challenges created a dynamic field toexperience the interplay amongst team-members with diverse skill sets, collaborating to sustainmorale and achieve results. I remained with Beserk as Warehouse officer undertaking various duties,including assisting the training and supervision of new staff.JB Hi-Fi has given me opportunity to refine my skills, where I've rapidly learned a new set ofwarehousing procedures. JB's work culture has strong emphasis on safety and customer service,persuasive to working on ladders, handling of bulky stock and being—frontline to customers—requires timely attentiveness towards their needs. My role involves relaying information tocustomers (such as safe procedures for handling televisions), answering queries and various othercorrespondences with stakeholders.My formal course-work covered a broad range of material. Flight-planning involved interpolating andmanaging many technical aspects and constraints—with accuracy being imperative to maximisesafety and efficiency. Safety management study involved researching air-accident case-studies,where I developed appreciation and curiosity regarding the balance between optimal human-situational-awareness and the degree-of-automation within complex system environments.Communication and business management study provided insight into contemporary organisationalpractices and challenges.
