I have close to 20 years' experience in professional services. For the last 12 years I've had a variety of roles within corporate services with a focus on aviation leasing. Prior to this I was an Assurance Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly 7 years. Over the course of my career, I have developed a significant knowledge of Company Law, Project Management, Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial & Compliance, Accounting and Tax Compliance. I have worked closely with shareholders, board directors and senior management across a broad range of industries in successfully establishing Irish operations for my clients. I am actively involved in the provision of services to a broad portfolio of clients in the Aviation Industry.I have extensive Director experience, having served on over 160 client boards. Of this, 120 have related to aviation companies. My experience on client aviation boards includes single special purpose financing entities (including PDP finance), Operating Lease Platforms and Servicer entities, covering a variety of commercial aviation asset classes (narrow body, wide body, regional and helicopters).I am a Fellow Chartered Accountant, with diplomas in International Financial Reporting Standards (Chartered Accountants Ireland) and Aviation Leasing and Financing (Law Society of Ireland). I also have a B.Sc. (Accounting) from UCC and a Masters in Accounting from UCD.Following completion of the Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Financing, I lectured on the topic of corporate service providers as part of this diploma in subsequent years. I was a council member of the Irish Debt Securities Association from 2015 – 2017.Experience highlights:- Established Canyon’s Dublin office in 2017, which now employs circa 20 staff, servicing a broad range of clients across aviation, pharma and tech. - Lead a team dedicated to the provision of the full suite of financial reporting and lease administration services to an Irish based aircraft leasing company, with a portfolio of over 350 aircraft. - Served as a Director on an operating lease platform, which originated an aviation Asset Backed Securitisation (“ABS”) with a portfolio value of $1 billion in 2017.- Assisted an International Airline establish a captive operating lease platform in 2016 and served as a Director on their Irish entities.- Have led the on-boarding and management of five aviation ABS transactions since August 2018. This has involved close co-ordination with the Originating Lessors/Servicers, Structuring Banks, Legal Advisors and Trustees.
