Since 1996, I have focused on technology commercialization and have worked with universities, private companies, government labs, and individual inventors to identify business applications for emerging technologies. I have formal training in license negotiation, license preparation, intellectual property management, valuation of intellectual property, SBIR/STTR funding, government procurement, and basic/advanced topics in technology transfer. My experience includes work with various universities, most of the federal agencies including the Departments of Energy, Department of Defense, USDA, and more than 200 private and publicly held companies. I have worked with technologies from many fields including medicine, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, engineering, chemistry, physics, computer science, energy, and agriculture.
