As a counsel in waiting at Kenya Ports Authority for over eight years, I have honed my skills and expertise in maritime law, a vital and dynamic area of practice in Kenya and the region. I have a Bachelor of Laws degree from Kenya School of Law, and I am passionate about providing high-quality legal services and advice to the organization and its stakeholders.In my current role, I draft and review contracts, policies, and agreements with various parties, such as suppliers, contractors, customers, and regulators. I also represent the organization in court and arbitration proceedings, and negotiate settlements and resolutions with other parties. I work with different teams and departments, and communicate effectively and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders. I contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the legal department and the organization as a whole, and uphold the principles of justice, integrity, and professionalism.
