In 1998, initiated a now nationally recognized health care industry leadership team, the Industry Collaboration Effort (ICE) (www.iceforhealth.org). An organization consisting of representatives from health plans, provider organizations, hospitals and trade associations to address the standardization and implementation of regulatory requirements governing the health care industry. Served as co-chair of the ICE executive team coordinating the activities of thirty teams and recruiting on-going participation of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and State agencies. Currently serving as President and chairman of the board and as ICE Agency Leadership Team Chairman and Executive Director of Agency relations.− Incorporated ICE as a 501c3− Secured a grant from the California Health Care Foundation for the development ofthe ICE website. Currently receives over 450,000 hits a month.− Expanded ICE operations nationally to include the north west and north east regionsof the country.
