Leader of high-performing, multi-service, cross-functional teams in the special operations and navy expeditionary environment. Husband to a senior lecturer of finance and father of two girls, I enjoy a great walk spoiled (never if with them), riding my road bike, and getting outside as much as possible.At the beginning of my 30-year Navy career as an electronics technician specializing in satellite communications, I supervised the operation and maintenance of tactical and fixed earth terminals spanning the globe. Looking to challenge myself and conquer my fears, I volunteered and successfully completed explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) training. In this new and demanding career field, I led and deployed teams in combat, supporting special warfare, special forces, and special operations across all operational environments. I led supply chain efforts to decrease EOD student attrition while maintaining established occupational standards. Selected as the only enlisted member of the 2019 U.S. Navy Defense Legislative Fellow cohort, I provided sage defense and veteran recommendations on policy and legislation to the assigned member and his personal staff. I want my next chapter to wake me up in the morning with fire, to challenge me with complex and dynamic issues, and leave me wanting more at the end of the week. I currently work with some of the bravest and most dedicated men and women the country has in its ranks. An environment emphasizing dedication to the mission and a sense of belonging would be an organization I am all in. I am excited to transition (retirement date of Oct. 1st, 2021) and very interested in learning more about the many opportunities out there!
