Served as a UH/AH-1 Helicopter Airframes Mechanic and Collateral Duty Inspector where daily duties include inspecting, maintaining, repairing helicopter airframe systems, and complying with the required QA inspections during all maintenance actions performed by the Airframes Division. Spot checked all work in progress and was familiar with the provisions and responsibilities of the various programs managed and audited by Quality Assurance. Supervised human and physical resources to maintain a productive and efficient work environment. Composed and produced written and oral communications appropriate to meet audience needs and comply with industry standards. Managed human safety performance in a high-risk environment, analyzed behavioral safety and evaluated the role of the human factors in aviation operations. Conducted security roving duties securing the perimeter, contents, and physical structure of multiple government assets including 10 UH/AH-1aircraft, over 200 personnel to include military and civilian contractors, 2 H1 aircraft simulators, and 5 UC-12F Aircraft.

Stationed at MALS-49, MAG 49 at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, New York where the position of Aircraft Electronic Countermeasures Systems Technician was held at the Intermediate Level. Duties expected to perform were to inspect, test, maintain, and repair airborne weapon replaceable assemblies, shop replaceable assemblies, and ancillary equipment whose aggregate constitutes a complete aircraft electronic electronic countermeasures system or subsystem.

Completed Training at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock, NC where training was acquired on Communication Equipment Intermediate Maintenance to be able to understand voice and data radio equipment operation procedures, perform radio troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. Training was also given to test, troubleshoot, operate and align the AN/ARN-118(V) Airborne TACAN Navigational set; perform transponder system maintenance procedures on the AN/APX-72 and -100(V), including alignment and troubleshooting with specialized tools and equipment; understand and troubleshoot identification of friend or foe (IFF), speech, and digital voice terminal secure communications systems; troubleshoot AN/ALQ-157A (V) Infared Countermeasures Set, and perform maintenance on system. Completed multiple combat conditioning courses leading, supervising, and working with a dozen other Marines on physical conditioning, force on force management, team building skills, and risk management skills.

Acquired Marine Corps Avionics Apprentice Technical Training and Intermediate Level Avionics Training at the Naval Air Technical Training Center at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. Training was given to be able to analyze and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, solid state circuits, and digital logic circuits and use electronic and digital test equipment. Training was also given to perform mathematics for analyst for AC/DC circuits; understand and troubleshoot digital logic circuits; perform trouble shooting of AM and FM RF systems; and troubleshoot transmitters and receivers and anetenas and waveguides. Also held multiple security billets providing roving and stationary guarding posts for 1 government and multiple privately contracted structures on base providing physical security for over 150 military aircraft on a 37 acre area of operation, and hundreds of civilians and 400 military personnel over a 6 month period.

Completed training at the School of Infantry West- Marine Combat Training where students were provided the ability to perform as basic riflemen in a combat environment. Trained extensively in individual and squad based tactics, armed security / patrol, force on force engagements, explosives handling, Rifle and Light Machinegun usage, land navigation, radio communication, combat marksmanship, first aid, prisoner detainment, and close quarters combat.
