Leadership Responsibilities: 1. Direction of inpatient pharmacy operations at three hospitals within an Integrated Delivery Network. This includes oversight of two retail pharmacies embedded within the health system as well as support for the pharmacy initiatives through the system’s Population Health division. 2. Research, development, and implementation of several technology solutions related to pharmacy automation and production, nursing medication management workflow and patient-safety initiatives. 3. Development and implementation of several pharmacy-lead clinical programs across the health system designed to best utilize the skills of a pharmacist to assist the medical staff in providing exemplary pharmaceutical care for our patients. 4. Collaboratively worked with multiple cross-functional teams with the goal of achieving operational excellence and improved efficiencies while enhancing overall quality. 5. Strategic Planning for revenue-generating potential for the health system: a. Outpatient specialty medication infusions both at the three hospitals and within select hospital-owned physician specialist practices. b. Boutique offerings to our patients and community through our two outpatient retail pharmacies. 6. Drug procurement and management across the system, including significant vaccine portfolios and specialty medications. 7. Capital and Operational budgets and all financial data analysis and reporting. 8. Staff enhancement and enrichment through collaboration, inclusion, and establishment of departmental expectations and accountability.
