He is also responsible for the central voter register currently maintained by the Office of the Secretary of State.Essential Job Functions:· Create the necessary forms for candidate declarations, endorsements, nomination signatures and candidate certifications. · Certify all federal and state candidates for ballot placement.· Set the ballot layout, and prepare and proof all official optical scan ballots, sample ballots, mail ballots, and optical scan voting equipment cartridges.· Create and/or amend all mail ballot applications and related forms.· Review and finalize each mail ballot packet being sent to voters.· Prepare the ballot for all proposals to amend the Rhode Island Constitution and any other public questions submitted to our voters.· Create and distribute voter information booklets, election guides and election calendars.· Maintain the Central Voter Register.
