The Manager of the Occupational Safety and Health Department is responsible for setting occupational health and safety standards in factories and institutions, and ensures that workers comply with those guidelines, and takes all necessary measures to reduce work risks. And he is fully prepared to work in emergency situations, and therefore the goal of the manager’s job is to create a safe place that complies with legal standards, and to enhance the culture of workers regarding those standards to pay attention to while working.The manager is the main responsible for the health and safety of workers and employees within the workplace, and therefore he has a set of obligations⛑️ Setting and developing policies and programs for occupational health and safety.⛑️Guidance and advice on various safety related topics, for example use of machines, noise levels in the venue, etc.⛑️Conducting assessments about all risks that may be exposed to the workplace and applying all preventive measures.⛑️ Review current policies and standards and update them according to the nature and needs of the workplace.⛑️ Organizing training courses for workers and employees to enhance their culture with these standards.⛑️Periodic inspection of buildings, as well as the machines and protective equipment used, and identifying any related problems.⛑️Supervision of maintenance, installation or disposal of hazardous materials, etc.⛑️Stop and investigate any unsafe operations to identify and remedy the causes.⛑️ Preparing reports about accidents, and dealing with requirements for workers. ⛑️Monitoring the workplace, directing workers during their work, and punishing those who deviate from the established standards.⛑️Hold regular meetings with employees to discuss and share safe best practices in the workplace, document meeting minutes and compile reports. ⛑️Develop strategies to prevent and control occupational accidents or injuries.
