Supports six BASIS data centers, 71 regions and over 550 locations. • Assist technical support with system maintenance, upgrades, and system errors.• Provide AS400 technical support to European Operations during system backups and Basis reorgs.• Submits daily, weekly, monthly and yearly Robot backups on all AS400’s, as well as processing the BASIS database reorganizations.• Involved in the implementation and installation of Candle Command Center for AS400’s in order to provide automation for the monitoring of the AS400’s for the Network Operations Team.• Assist operations analyst in backup error recovery to ensure systems are available to users at the scheduled time.• Monitor Job Scheduler Console for mainframe and SAP job abends.• Monitor mainframe console for 4 zSeries mainframes that have been partitioned into 24 LPARS for outstanding messages.• Monitor Tivoli Enterprise Console for outstanding messages for over 250 pSeries RS6000’s and 350 Win2000 Compaq Servers.• Work with IBM and Project Pinnacle to put together procedures for IBM Mainframe and ETC Operations.• Processes backup media to be sent off site for AS400, zSeries, pSeries, xSeries, Teradata, and Open System Platforms.
