Working in a busy café in a role that covered everything from cooking, cleaning, taking orders and waiting tables, through to ordering stock from suppliers and making deliveries. As a family run business in its infancy, also heavily involved in developing the menu, negotiating with suppliers and trying to find ways to increase profitability. Conducted surveys for customer feedback and implemented changes accordingly

Many responsibilities afforded at quite a young age. Opening and closure of the store, ordering and receipt of stock, handling banking, stock-taking, setting up and managing customer accounts and helping to ensure the general smooth running. Also worked as Interim Manager for a time. This involved working long twelve hour days and taking on full management of the store, relished the extra responsibilities.
