Writer of traditional mysteries. My first novel The Seance Society, published by St. Martin's Press (Thomas Dunne/Minotaur,) is available through bookstores and online. Set in the mid 1950s, it features the detective duo of O’Nelligan and Plunkett. The second novel in this series, The Haunting Ballad, will be released in the fall of this 2014. My writings have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies including Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine; Best Crime and Mystery Stories of the Year; The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction; Thin Ice: Crime Stories by New England Writers; Plays, the Drama Magazine for Young People; Dead Promises; Gods and Monsters; and Crimestalkers Casebook. I am a past winner of the Black Orchid Novella Award, the Nor’easter Play Writing Contest, and the Vermont Playwrights Award.
