Events & Marketing has been a part of my life since the day I retired from professional basketball. With a torn up shoulder and a marketing degree in my back pocket, I turned to my creative abilities and mental toughness to carve out a different path. As I landed in one of Arizona's top multicultural advertising agencies, I was introduced to experiential marketing and the force of sponsorship as a tool to reach the community. I was placed at the head of partnerships for Arizona's oldest and longest running event. An event emboldened in culture and history in Downtown Phoenix, the Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival.Not only did sponsorship revenue and partnerships grow, but we implemented new systems, a VIP platform and ticketing system that would increase presale ticketing by 275%. After three years, I was proficient in mapping, marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, logistics, city code, setup & strike and contracts & invoicing. It was the holy grail for a beginner. As we fast forward to 2019-20, my portfolio of events and marketing expertise are the lifeblood of a solo venture that has allowed me to connect Fortune 500 companies with the communities they serve across the nation. As we open up more event side partnerships for 2020, we strive to deliver valuable audiences that are passionate about their beliefs and values to companies that are dedicated to their customers, stakeholders and communities.
